10 Reasons PS Vita Is Easily Better Than Nintendo Switch

8. Multiple Past Generation Support (It's A PS1/PS2/PS3/PSP Legacy Machine)

You have to imagine Nintendo are building up to some "legacy service" announcement for the Switch at some point. They've got too many grade-A games from generations past to not roll them out under a monthly fee or as separate purchases like on the Wii U.

Right now the nearest thing we've got to the Virtual Console is a yet-to-be-launched/fully detailed monthly service with a collection of swap-in/swap-out titles, and outside of that, Nintendo are content updating literally one or two games as part of the "Arcade Archives" series.

Contrast this to the Vita, and besides already owning Vita-ready versions of any supported PS1 or PS2 games you've bought in the past decade, the system supports hundreds of games from across console libraries spanning PS1, PS2 and even PS3 (if we count PlayStation All-Stars, Mortal Kombat and a handful more).

Metal Gear Solid, God of War, Jak & Daxter collections/trilogies, Crash Team Racing, Soul Reaver - you can treat the Vita as a legacy system if the newer exclusives don't appeal, and there'll always be more to delve into when compared to a Switch under the same criteria.
