9. The Dynamic Environment

The Culling is set in a tropical, jungle environment. It€™s littered with various landmarks such as a gas station, sewers and a satellite tower. Much of the good gear is located in various buildings, which of course leads to a lot of action happening earlier on. Luckily the map isn€™t too large, either. Considering there€™s only sixteen players in each match, it doesn€™t leave the player roaming around aimlessly trying to find someone. To ensure you eventually encounter each other, a poison gas is slowly released along the outskirts, forcing players to meet in the middle of the map. It€™s a clever way to make the endgame more intense, as players frantically run around the centre stage trying to kill one another.
