10 Reasons Video Games Make You Worse at Life

8. They€™re Addictive

This applies to most gamers. If you€™re trying to convince yourself they aren€™t, well you are in denial. This isn€™t addicting in the sense that you need to play, but more so that when you play you become a different person. Any interruptions to your gaming time are completely unacceptable. You get aggressive and angry because you set time aside to play your game and everything from the phone ringing to a fire would be extremely annoying. Its fine to be that focused on the game, but being that focus for extended periods can really hurt relationships and cause unwanted problems with anyone. Games are fun, but the video game companies know how to make an addicting product and they exploit that to no end.
