10 Reasons Video Games Make You Worse at Life

9. In the End You've Accomplished Nothing

When you€™re done an intense video game session, in the end is it worth it? It€™s like eating a whole bag of cookies. You enjoyed the whole thing, but in the end are you really satisfied. You wasted valuable time and energy that could have been applied somewhere more productively. The occasional game is understandably acceptable for a couple hours, but drawing them out for three or four more hours is completely unnecessary. Games should be a break from reality where you can enjoy yourself, not an endless session where nothing really gets accomplished. If you can go to a social gathering and pick up someone you fancy or go to a job interview and successfully acquire the job using your video game accomplishments, I applaud you as a boss and claim this point moot, otherwise I stand by it.
