10 Retro FPS Games We Need On Consoles

5. Return To Castle Wolfenstein

It only seemed fair back in the day to give the very first FPS game a proper sequel and RTCW didn't disappoint. This is the franchise's most dark and gory entry, laughably so given the cartoonish look of the original.

It's arguably the superior and more creative experience compared to B.J.'s latest outings. Whilst the story may not be up to much, the tone, atmosphere, and action far outweigh the negatives.

It was ported to both the PS2 and Xbox, but naturally these were the weaker options. However, both had unique and distinct levels, and gameplay features, so it would be nice to see if all those pros could be combined to form the definitive edition under one title.

Given the recent resurgence in the popularity of the series, this one really is a no-brainer as people are going to be expecting more.

Plus, the 2009 entry never really got the love it deserved, and for the most part has vanished into thin air. How could anyone say no to another shot at either?
