10 Retro FPS Games We Need On Consoles

6. SiN

Upon it's original release in 1998, SiN was well received but totally overshadowed by a quaint little project by the name of Half-Life. This is a shame because SiN was a great game in its own right.

A fun, intense, action packed FPS that attempted to do some similar stuff to Half-Life, SiN utilised non-linear gameplay and interactive environments, and you could knock an enemy's weapon out of their hands or be hit in different body parts requiring specific armour.

It's arguably the better looking game too, definitely more highly stylised, opting for a comic book/adult cartoon vibe compared to Half Life's more realistic and grounded approach.

It's currently being remastered for P.C. gamers, so it's great it's not been forgotten and could secure new fans, which in turn could prompt sequels and spin offs.
