10 Ridiculous Video Games Based On Horror Movies
3. ObsCure
High school is full of surprises, but stumbling onto a conspiracy where students are being experimented on feels a bit much. In the same vein as Until Dawn's genre-bending goodness, ObsCure takes a bunch of horror movie cliches and makes you play through them with very real consequences; the only goal being to get all five of your characters out alive at the end of the game.
If you've watched The Faculty, then you've played ObsCure, which takes the same beats as the movie and spins them out in in its own way. The Elijah Wood starring counterpart serves as inspiration for this one, in which an alien infection takes over the teaching staff and soon sets about turning students into victims as well.
The Faculty is a ridiculous, campy good time to begin with, so channelling that into a game of choice just makes the experience of ObsCure all the more entertaining. More ridiculous high school nonsense decked out in unbearably 00s fashion, please.
