Somewhere in the annals of media history there lies a large tome, reading, in capital letters: "May no action protagonist go more than 18 seconds without uttering a one-liner. Quality and relevance are negotiable. Any and all offending heretics will be put to death by firing squad at the hands of laughably inaccurate henchmen. (Please note: Execution may take several attempts.)" A devout adherent to the Action creed, Nathan Drake has even gone so far as to shorten the one-liner interval to a mere two seconds. He's certainly not a bad character, just one with unshakable hair, stubble frozen in time, an affinity for hazardous occupations, and a quip for every situation - for example, breathing.
A freelance games writer, you say? Typically battling his current RPG addiction and ceaseless perfectionism? A fan of horror but too big a sissy to play for more than a couple of hours? Spends far too much time on JRPGs and gets way too angry with card games?
