10 Scenes That Must Be In LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens

2. The Awesome X-Wing Assault On Starkiller Base

As The Force Awakens' own version of A New Hope's Trench Run, the X-Wing assault on Starkiller Base will be one of the game's most epic stages. Piloting an X-Wing (probably as Poe, though there may be an option to switch between multiple characters) in an epic, climactic battle with the entire galaxy depending on the Resistance will be pretty much impossible to mess up on TT Games' part. While this lacks the tight structure and simplicity of the Trench Run, it has enough power and high-stakes to make this one of the game's most exciting stages. In previous Star Wars games, space-based levels have either been on-rails or offering only a limited range of movement, and the dogfighting is likely to be very similar here. As with other sequences adapted for the game, the Resistance's assault on Starkiller Base will no doubt be expanded, with set goals such as taking down a specific number of TIE Fighters, for example, or helping to protect various X-Wing pilots from total destruction. Even if TT Games add a closing level based around Rey's step-climbing escapades to reach Luke, this is set to be one of the last stages, so will need to help send the game off with a bang.
