10 Scenes That Must Be In LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens

1. Rey's Epic Confrontation With Kylo Ren As Starkiller Base Crumbles

Well, here it is. The big finale. The climax. Rey and Finn versus Kylo Ren. This is the moment the entire film builds towards, and it doesn't disappoint. Abrams managed to make the lightsaber combat much closer to the more visceral, elegant choreography of the original trilogy rather than the CGI acrobatics of the prequels. In the other LEGO Star Wars games, boss battles usually added platforming elements to the combat. Anakin and Obi-Wan's battle on Mustafar, for example, involved crumbling environments, which is exactly what The Force Awakens delivers too. Players taking charge of Rey will likely have to negotiate uneven terrain and dodge falling trees while fending off Ren's ferocious attacks. Force powers will also feature. As we mentioned earlier, seeing Rey's skills evolve during the film was thrilling, and so this should also manifest in the game, too. By the time she's ready to take up Vader's / Luke's lightsaber at the end, she'll probably handle differently than she does at the start. How much of this stage will feature Finn and how much will feature Rey remains to be seen, but the latter is likely to get more of the time considering it's her who defeats Kylo Ren. This is the most important scene in the film, as it shows the Force truly awakening in Rey. TT Games is also promising to provide additional content that bridges the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, but hopefully, these 10 scenes will all be given the focus they deserve.
