10 Secret NPCs Hidden In Video Games

Anyone who's played The Stanley Parable will be well aware that it's jam-packed with fourth wall-shattering weirdness intended to keep the player unnerved, but did you know there's a secret walking NPC that semi-randomly stalks the halls of your office building?

Despite Stanley's workplace apparently being entirely abandoned, those who head to the second office room at the start of the game and peer into employee 425's office just might see a man walking along the hallway on the other side of the room.

The man's appearance is totally random, and so the vast majority of players have understandably never spotted him.

Curiously the NPC has the same character model as Stanley himself, which depending on your viewpoint means you're either actually watching yourself or the game is passing commentary on how office drudgery turns everyone into anonymous, indistinguishable worker drones. Deep.
