10 SEGA Games That Need A Remake
9. ToeJam & Earl
I bet you forgot about these guys.
ToeJam & Earl were SEGA's second favourite mascots behind the infamous Sonic. Unfortunately, the gameplay of this title did not have the longevity of the Sonic titles, but the game was filled with comedy and satire as well as a unique visual style.
ToeJam & Earl is essentially a collect-a-thon as players attempt to find the wreckage of their spaceship which has crash-landed on Earth. Players are tasked with getting the ship in running order so they can return to Funkotron but of course, this isn't easy. This game was truly inspired and fun and while there have been sequels as late as 2019 it would be good to see this title revitalized for modern audiences rather than just loyal fans.
The recent success of the Spyro Remastered Trilogy showcases an audience for these kinds of games and adding in the personality of these characters would certainly separate it from the competition.
With that in mind, ToeJam & Earl need to come back in a remastered form and crash into Earth again.
