4. Bioshock Infinite - Booker's Revelation

If I had a dime for every article written about the "brilliant, earth-shattering, paradigm-shifting" twist at the end of Bioshock Infinite, I'd have...like, probably forty-seven dimes or something. But the reason everyone loves talking about it is because it's *actually* a damn amazing ending. I'm sure you've either played the game, or intend to and don't want it completely ruined, so I'll try to be brief.

Essentially, you go through the entire game, seeing the world change before your very eyes, and when you get to the end, your perception of reality is completely turned on its head. Everything you've been fighting for is seen from another lens, and before you can fully process the consequences of your actions, the game ends. It's a masterful way of creating a compelling, immersive narrative, and absolutely deserves all the hype and press it has drummed up.
