10 Single-Player Star Wars Games EA MUST Make After Jedi: Fallen Order
3. Star Wars: Vader
This list could very easily have consisted of 10 Fallen Order clones (Star Wars pun not intended) in which we merely swap out Cal Kestis for another Force user like Yoda or Kylo Ren, for example.
However, if the opening level of The Force Unleashed and that scene aboard the rebel cruiser in Rogue One showed us anything, it’s that the only other character we need in a 3rd person character action title is Darth Vader.
Arguably the most powerful and most badass Sith Lord in the entire Star Wars saga, we’ve never really been able to fully explore his skill set in video games.
Yes, we had that level in TFU, and Vader is a staple Villain character in the Battlefront series, but these are mere cameos in larger games whose primary focus is elsewhere.
Gamers have been handed the reins of myriad Star Wars characters for 30-40 hour play sessions over the years, but never those of the most iconic character in the whole saga.
Now is the time; a Vader game is long overdue.
Taking the positives from Fallen Order and its Star Wars gaming predecessors, the game would pick up the story after Revenge of the Sith as the newly christened Darth Vader is still coming to terms with his new mechanical body and the apparent death of his wife and child.
Hunting down the last of the Jedi at the Emperor’s command, a full-blown Vader game set in the newly established continuity has the potential to be both a lightsaber slashing, Force choking riot, and a quieter, more emotional experience once the former Skywalker returns from his mission to the comfort of his Bacta Tank and solitude of his meditation chamber.
A potential game of the year in the making, Star Wars: Vader definitely is the game we're looking for.
