10 Single-Player Star Wars Games EA MUST Make After Jedi: Fallen Order
4. Star Wars RPG
One that virtually sells itself, a huge, open world Star Wars game in the Skyrim or Witcher mould is an absolute must.
The player would take control of a customisable, Scoundrel-class character living on the fringes of the galaxy, with no existing nor potential connection to the Force.
Stripping the character of this mystical paradigm and instead putting a blaster firmly in the hand of a regular human or alien character ensures a take on the Star Wars universe we haven’t seen in games for a while.
The player can make dialogue choices for the benefit of themselves, or to further the respective Imperial or Rebel causes, can choose to join a guild, or literally fly under the radar taking on smuggling jobs for the outer rim cartels.
As is the case with Skyrim, it would be entirely possible to put hundreds of hours into this Star Wars RPG without actually moving the main plot along at all.
Part Knights of the Old Republic and part Mass Effect, players would have the freedom to visit a huge roster of planets on their own customisable ship, hire a crew, get a droid, speak to NPCs for side quests, and generally find their place in the galaxy.
Borrow one additional facet from the Witcher series and substitute a game of Gwent at an Inn for a round of Sabacc in a Cantina, and we may never leave our homesteads again.
