Points to Rockstar for coming up with a celebrity that was appropriate to the era of the game, if not necessarily the tone. After all, I can't remember the last time Phil Collins was busted for car jacking or mowing down crowds of people whilst wearing a rocket pack. Now, if there was a scene involving massive amounts of damage to a drum set, Phil is your man. Most of Phils involvement in game revolves around you protecting him from mob hitmen, because any group of people that want Phil Collins dead need to be stopped. At the end of the mission, youre rewarded with a full concert rendition of In the Air Tonight. As a fitting coda to this, its worth noting that due to his status as a canonical GTA character, hardcore fans of the series actually have to devote pages to his music career on Grand Theft Auto-centric wikis, which really makes the whole thing worth it.
