10 Terrible Video Game Ports NOBODY Asked For

There's not much more which can be said about this port than has already been lamented myriad times over the last thirty-odd years, but MY GOD is it terrible.

To set the scene for our younger readers, back in the halcyon days of home console gaming, the developers' main - if not only - goal was to bring the arcade experience to home systems - spectacular and groundbreaking as arcade titles of the day truly were.

Obviously this is no longer the case, with modern games far surpassing the quality of arcade titles; the latter long-since relegated to the realms of seaside nostalgia (albeit with added B.O and hand-juice).

Pac-Man, in its day, was the king of the arcade, showcasing fast, intense gameplay, bright, eye-catching colours, and a soundtrack which is still instantly recognisable to this day.

The Atari 2600 port, however, was practically the Bizaro World mirror image of this.

With murky browns and blues replacing the shiny visuals, appalling screen-flicker which made the port virtually unplayable, the famous pellets and fruit replaced with brown (why all the brown?) lines, and a soundtrack which is probably quite similar to what Hell actually sounds like...

The (in)famous 2600 E.T game is actually better than this.
