10 Terrible Video Game Ports NOBODY Asked For

"Mega Man, Mega Man, does whatever a...." never mind.

Love or hate the Mega Man series, there's no denying the little blue dude's place in the gaming hall of fame.

From the early NES days, players have ran, jumped, shot, and - mostly - died, at the wheel of this surprisingly difficult platform series.

Sequels, remakes, and ports have inevitably made their way onto countless platforms for more than thirty years at this point with varying degrees of success, but the DOS version is undoubtedly the worst.

Released in 1990 by Hi Tech Expressions, this title brings with it an embarrassment of issues, problems, and inexplicable design choices.

The most prominent complaint - and rightly so - relates to the graphics.

It wouldn't be harsh to wonder whether developer Stephen Rozner tasked a child to draw the visuals in Paintbrush (remember that?), so offensive they are to the eye.

Next is the music........ Ah, got you!!! There isn't any.

No, seriously, there's not a single note of music in this game, just a nauseating sequence of "Beeps" and "Boops" tied to actions, and even these are terrible.

Uninspired, frankly boring level design, a framerate of about 3 frames whenever the computer feels like it, urgh... No.

Just, just no.
