6. The Happy Mask Salesman - The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask

What is this guy's deal?

Everything about him, from his creepy grin to his weird mannerisms just unnerves you. Then there's the fact that he sells weird masks - masks that appear to make Link scream in what appears to be massive torment whenever he puts them on.

It's amazing to say, but the Happy Mask Salesman is probably the scariest thing in Majora's Mask, despite it being full of weirdness from the very get-go.

What about the scene where the mask salesman gets angry with Link for not returning his money and threatens him? There's something not right about this weirdo and his collection of masks.

On top of all that, he seems to know far too much about Link (stalker, much?), can apparently appear wherever he wants, and literally seems to disappear into thin air.

Worse still, it's alluded to that he is the one responsible for hurtling Link back through time just before the equally-terrifying moon crashes down after the three-day timeline of Majora's Mask has expired.

He's also directly responsible for the events of Majora's Mask, having acquired the mask itself which was then in turn stolen by the Skull Kid.

Never trust the Happy Mask Salesman!
