Undead? Check. Highly emaciated, with protruding bones? Check. Hideous masks with sharp teeth in a grimace? Check, check and check again.
ReDeads are the unsung horrors of the Legend of Zelda series. A recurring enemy in multiple entries, these hideous creatures are generally found in the depths of dungeons, or hanging out under graveyards.
Not content with just looking scary, ReDeads have the ability to completely freeze you in place while they stalk towards you. They also like to emit blood-curdling shrieks every so often, and sap you of your life energy as they shamble towards you.
The shrieks of the ReDeads are the truly terrifying thing. If they're looking at you and scream at you, you'll be stuck, even if you're in midair. If you've encountered one, finding yourself frozen out of your controls as one of these creatures shambles towards you, you'll know exactly just how scary they can be. It's made even worse when they jump on you and start sapping your health.
