The first thing anyone notices when playing the game is its art style. The game is a looker, in a unique way. No matter the hardware you play it on, the game will constantly have you crashing into planets as you gaze at the scenery.

I found the simplistic art style meant there was no noticeable pop in, and the game ran super smoothly at all times. The visuals wash over you as you play; pulling you deeper into the universes most dangerous space program.

Whether its characters, planets, camps or evil space fish, they fit beautifully into the world. All the assets are designed to be rickety, dangerous and inventive on Timber Hearth and the total opposite where the Nomai are involved. The game never looks boring.

It all works to form an aesthetic. One that fits perfectly and benefits all aspects of the game. Its a delight to look at and you'll constantly be taking screenshots.
