10 Things Only People Who Own A PS4 Will Understand
2. Choosing Which Games To Delete Because You've Ran Out Of Memory (Again)
In the last couple of years we have been treated with some fantastic games that truly push the boundaries of what video games can achieve from a technical standpoint. Just taking a look at Spider-Man (2000) on the PS1 and comparing it to Spider-Man PS4 just goes to show how much the medium has actually evolved over the past two decades.
The only issue is with bigger games is that they require more memory to pack in all the content. With the PS4 not having a huge amount of storage in relation to modern games, this leads to players having to uninstall games just so they have enough room to install their new games.
Over the years this problem has only gotten worse, with games like Red Dead Redemption 2 taking an absurd amount of storage space up.
Perhaps most offensive of all is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) requiring a staggering 190GB of space! If you have a PS4 with only 500GB of storage, that's nearly 2/5 of your total storage being taken up by one game. As well as games you have apps such as Netflix and Spotify also taking up precious room on your console.
The only other option is to get an external hard drive, but it's a bitter compromise just to play a handful of games.
