Okay, so while the recent announcement didn't provide the full roster reveal that so many fans have been clamouring for, there were a number of hints as to which fighters will be immortalised in pixels in the upcoming title.

In addition to the heavyweight boxing kings set to be included that we have already discussed here, the trailer also appeared to confirm that now-retired welterweight Ben Askren would finally make his debut in the series among others, with the full roster being continually updated here as the release date draws ever-closer.

Unfortunately one of the franchise mainstays that won't be returning is beloved UFC colour commentator Joe Rogan. Rogan has never shied away from describing his disdain for the mind-numbingly repetitive nature of doing voice work for video games and was not involved in the making of EA UFC 3, with the team instead including his commentary from previous games. With the iconic tone of Rogan set to be absent from commentary, EA confirmed UFC heavyweight and fan favourite Daniel Cormier will step up to partner Jon Anik and cover all the action in the virtual booth.
