9. Backstage Environments Provide More Places To Play
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b91rfOzdClw WWE video games recently brought back the backstage area in matches, allowing players to bring their Superstars and their opponents backstage to the hallways of the arena. Giving players more variety for where they can brawl, it also adds more realism to the gameplay, but how much fun are backstage brawls in WWE 2K15 when the entire backstage area is all the same? It's cool there's an option to play in such an environment, but No Mercy's ability to go behind the curtain is far more entertaining. In No Mercy, there isn't only one environment to choose from, and you don't do so when selecting your match type. During the course of a matchup, you can leave the ring, run up the ramp and exit through the curtain. You then enter a hallway with several doorways leading out to the parking lot, a locker room and a bar. Heck, you can reenact your very own Boiler Room Brawl if you so wish. There's a wide variety of places to fight (and beat) your opponent other than just the squared circle and ringside.
