8. The Intro Opens The Game On A High Note
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDoYux2275Y It's rare Monday Night Raw opens with its signature intro, but it's equally rare a WWE video game opens with anything other than a start menu, but it's one of the small elements of a video game that make it an enjoyable experience. Years ago, WWE would open their SmackDown vs. Raw video games with the intro from either brand and it was random every time you started up the game and a rush to look forward to. Now, the game goes immediately into the menu from the start; where's the fun in that? Unlike most video games, No Mercy had its own identity. As soon as you saw its intro, you knew what time period it took place in and what a great time in wrestling it was. While it was on the lengthy side, it covered all of the game's best features and top stars; it was everything that a great intro should be, getting one excited for the game before they even began playing. They just don't make intros like they used to, but then again, they don't make them at all anymore; look no further than WWE 2K15.
