10 Things You Didn't Know About Fallout 4
1. Deacon Stalks The Player
Deacon, the constantly bespectacled Railroad agent is one of the most interesting characters in Fallout 4. A potential companion with a penchant for disguise, Deacon is devoted to helping liberating escaped synths from the Institute.
Technically, the player will first encounter Deacon when they arrive at the Railroad, where he will vouch to Desdemona, the leader of the group, on the Sole Survivor's achievements and intentions.
But how is the character already so familiar with the Sole Survivor upon that initial meeting?
Well, it turns out that Deacon actually follows the player throughout their journeying of the wastes, prior to their arrival at the Railroad HQ.
In fact, as a master of camouflage, Deacon is actually present in various locations throughout the main quest, including serving as a member of Diamond City security, wandering around as a drifter in Goodneighbour, and serving as a caravan worker in Bunker Hill. The main tell for these disguises is the ever-presence of the character's sunglasses.
