Nothing against Ensemble Studios whatsoever, but Halo Wars 2 was developed by a combination of mainstays 343 Industries and the almighty Creative Assembly - who you should know from the legendary Total War series.

Ensemble are to be praised for making what is usually a PC-centric genre 'work' on consoles, but with the power of 343's storytelling and Creative Assembly's veteran prowess, hopefully the pair have so far managed to create an RTS for the ages - one that will hopefully sit right alongside the Age of Empires, Starcrafts and Command & Conquers of this world.
