10 Things You Somehow Missed In The Last Of Us

Episode 3 of The Last of Us reimagines the relationship between two minor supporting characters from the game in inspired fashion.
In Naughty Dog's original series of events, Bill and Frank are doomsday partners in crime as a result of necessity. HBO flipped the script on this relationship, transforming the pair's character arc into an intensely moving tale of love and connection.
Murray Bartlett's Frank is responsible for one of HBO's more esoteric finishing touches - he's actually wearing it. Frank's red and black plaid shirt is the spitting image of the garment that Joel can equip as the game progresses, with episode director Peter Hoar confirming that the shirt was indeed included as a tip of the hat to Mr Miller's in-game attire from The Last of Us: Part I.
As impressive as this easily missable piece of detail is, it's far from The Last of Us' final piece of wardrobe related flair. The season's opening instalment depicts Nico Parker's Sarah wearing the exact same Hallican Drops T-shirt as she does in the game's prologue sequence, while the episode in which Joel's infamous shirt appears also sees Ellie donning the same red top adorned with palm trees as her virtual counterpart.
