10 Times Main Characters Killed Each Other

A Way Out is a totally unique entry on this list, because it's a single one-off game with mandatory two-player co-op. 

Each player controls one of two convicts - Leo or Vincent - as they stage a daring prison break in their quest for freedom.

But because this is a co-op experience from Josef Fares, the genius behind Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, of course there's a brutal sting in the tail.

At the end of the game, Vincent is revealed to be an undercover FBI agent, leading to an epic showdown between him and Leo, forcing players to turn against each other.

The fight climaxes in both men reaching for a gun, and depending on which player reacts fastest, one character will end up shooting and killing the other.

That's... one hell of a way to create arguments among friends.
