10 Truly Disturbing Fates Hidden In Video Games
8. Henry Stein - Bendy And The Ink Machine
When you initially end Bendy and the Ink Machine, it very much appears as though you've managed to net yourself a happy ending. At the end of the day, after all these scares and threats, you've escaped both Bendy and the ink machine - so the job's done, right?
Only, the ending suggests your fate might not be quite as rosy as all this first suggests. Because, at the very end of your journey, you're shown a cutscene that takes you right back to the workshop, where you started this whole ordeal.
As many in the game repeatedly say that there is no escape from this place, it seems as though the game exists as a loop, starting and ending at the same point - and showing that our hero Henry may well be trapped here forever. And generally, being locked into permanent struggle with a bunch of children's cartoons sounds like a rough time.
