Another release that's pretty much all but confirmed to be launching this year, EA's Titanfall series hasn't exactly shied away from keeping players up to date on the development of a sequel. Drip-feeding fans information on the much-anticipated shooter over the past few years, we already know that the new game is going to be multi-platform and feature an expanded single-player component of some kind.

However, with more information being leaked from EA's recent conference call with investors, we now know that a Titanfall sequel is a dead cert for releasing this fall. With a touted release of late October, both retailers and even toymakers have seemingly confirmed that they expect to see EA's latest flagship shooter on store shelves by the end of 2016.

Which makes sense; it's been over two years since the original game released, and if the news of an expanded singe-player and a multi-platform release are true, then Titanfall 2 could be one of EA's biggest games of the year.
