10 Under-The-Radar Video Games You'll Want To Buy In 2018

1. Strange Brigade

The Last Night
Rebellion

Every gamer wants to discover something fresh and unfamiliar whenever they play a new game, and Rebellion Developments look sure to check that off the list with “Indiana Jones and Friends battling the undead horde” co-op curiosity, Strange Brigade.

Lovelorn fans looking to scratch a Left 4 Dead-sized itch will be happy to see the four-player team-up come along, as for all intents and purposes it appears to be that game teleported to the jungle.

Third-person shooting? Good. Puzzle aspects? Good. Survival horror themes? Good. But Strange Brigade also looks what most games should be—fun.

In truth, the game looks like a confusing mish-mash of Egyptian zombies and deities on an Aztec island, but if I was ever taught anything as a child, it was to never wish for fewer Mummies.

The most frustrating thing about Strange Brigade is that despite holding its announcement last summer, like many of the entries on our list, there’s still no official word of a 2018 release, but if they do manage to squeeze it out before the end of the year, it already counts as a strong sleeper.
