10 Unfair Boss Fights Designed To Piss You Off

Final stage bosses in fighting games are notorious for their punishing difficulty, which is a remnant of the bygone arcade age in which games were designed to bleed you of all your money.

The Street Fighter series was no stranger to this, being home to all manner of fiercely intimidating foes, with the likes of M. Bison, Akuma and Gill ranking as some of the most challenging bouts in fighting game history.

The most unfair and annoying of the bunch though is Street Fighter IV's Seth, a sentient AI in a synthetic body designed to be an absolute unit on the battlefield, as well as a potential replacement body for M. Bison.

What makes Seth such an infuriating opponent is that his moveset is entirely comprised of the best moves from other fighters, only his variants are far quicker and way more devastating. His speed, stopping-power and teleportation abilities also make him a difficult opponent to pin down at all times.

Simply defeating him in the first round, or finding the chance to taunt him, immediately ramps up the difficulty to near impossible levels. He can be beaten once you hone your skills, but be prepared to get your arse kicked a lot.
