In the pantheon of Souls bosses, very few of them seem genuinely unfair. From Software has always put great care and attention into each fight to ensure a fair, balanced and exhilarating battle each and every time.

However, Old King Allant from Demon's Souls seems to buck this trend by taking the absolute piss. He will come at you with a flurry of high-damage attacks, leaving you very little breathing room. You're quickly forced into carefully stealing hits wherever possible to avoid a quick demise.

Aside from being challenging on a purely physical level, its his affinity for the magical arts that pushes him into the unfair category. His signature move 'Soul Drain' is a blast of magic that not only deals incredibly high damage, but will steal the last stat point you gained and reduce your Soul Level by one.

That's right, not only will he pummel you into the dirt at a moment's notice but he will actively seek to undo all of the hard-work you've put in trying to get up to him. Worst of all, you don't even get the points back if you kill him.
