10 Unfair Boss Fights Designed To Piss You Off

Designed to be extremely challenging from the get-go, this Lovecraft inspired abomination was the final boss of the dungeon known as the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, which was reserved for only the mightiest of players.

C'Thun's moveset is designed to frustrate, with numerous summons, shield buffs and an eye-beam that could potentially inflict an insane 5,000,000 points of damage if your positioning was slightly off. Legions of players banded together to try to defeat the tentacled terror but all of their efforts were for naught as nobody managed to slay him.

The shocking truth however, is that it was impossible to win this fight.

Try as the people might, it was proven to be unbeatable due to a random bug in the game that would spawn C'Thun's tentacles underneath players and inflict fatal damage. It became so notorious amongst users that Blizzard had to step in and severely nerf C'Thun in a number of ways just so players could actually stand a chance of beating him.

Even after all of the subsequent nerfs, C'Thun remains one of WoW's most challenging bosses and can still make mincemeat out of players who aren't properly equipped to face him.
