9. Assassins Creed II - May It Never Change Us
Jesper Kyd is one amazing composer. In fact, I wouldn't mind if this guy did the original score for every video game to ever come, and that is all because of one moment I will never forget. Ezio was racing Federico to the top of the church, as the race started the music began building. The music added to the beautiful setting, it fit perfectly with the beautifully dim-lit city of Florence, and it got you pumped, because you knew the adventure that lies ahead is going to be a good one. You beat Federico to the top of the church and suddenly he leads you to the top of the first viewpoint of the game. Federico helps Ezio up, and that's when the soundtrack 'Ezio's Family' kicks in. From there, the two brothers reminisce about the great lives they live, as the singing reaches its height and the title screen appears over the beautiful, vast environment you just can't wait to explore. This moment sets the tone for what is to come, and what follows does not disappoint. The series has gone through quite a few drastic changes in the last few instalments, including no longer having the incredible Kyd doing the score. But these changes...May they never change us!
