8. Need for Speed

Street racing and drifting is all well and good, but couldn't the stakes stand to be raised a tiny bit more? Picture this. You're peeling down the highway, the speedometer maxed out, when suddenly a parade of cops appears in your rear-view and starts gaining on you. What do you do? Why, tell your passenger to get the gun out of the glove box and start firing, turning this high-speed chase into a high-speed slaughter. One player could handle the driving, while the other plays what amounts to an extremely kinetic FPS. Or maybe the driver has weapons attached to his car that he need only release and start firing, forcing the driver to multitask, trying to aim and drive simultaneously. I don't know about you, but that sounds like the makings of a tremendously exciting game, one that I would plop down the money for almost immediately.
