10 Unlikely But Awesome FPS Reboots of Classic Games

9. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

This one may just be me, but I wanted nothing more than to enact some retribution on the cops in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4's London level. One can only be knocked down, and called a "wanker," so many times before wanting to rise up and knock the perpetrator of those needlessly violent acts down in exactly the same way, if not do something even worse. All I wanted to do was go for a nice, relaxing skate and these cops, these true "wankers," attempted to unjustly deny me that right. Some would say to avoid them, that they're as easy to sidestep as a slow-moving zombie, or that they're only upholding the law. Well I say that I'd rather not mess with them altogether, that a game series which has shown such little concern for making things true to life shouldn't start now. And if the creators of the series were to make a throwback level wherein one is able to visit vengeance upon those god-forsaken coppers, doing 900s while spraying bullets in every direction, I would honestly buy the game just for that. Then again, maybe I let them get to me a little too much.
