Just throwing this out to calm the masses: the first Force Unleashed was a great game. A fun, non-canonical entry in the Star Wars universe, it was a solid third person adventure to prime us for the likes of the upcoming Jedi Fallen Order.

So why is the sequel not held in such esteem? Well, probably because calling it a sequel is a bit of a reach. For one, it was only about half the length of the first game, and even then, a lot of the levels were just replaying the older ones.

It also smacks of Asura's Wrath levels of greed when the ending was fleshed out in DLC, essentially locking you to choosing the Dark Side ending to play it all out. You also kill Princess Leia, so it's definitely far from canon as could be.

Even weirder, the Nintendo Wii version is considered to be the best one, with a slightly tweaked storyline and improvements. Bit of a smack in the face if you only had an Xbox 360/PS3 at the time.
