10 Upcoming 2020 Video Games We're Incredibly Worried About

6. Skull & Bones

Ubisoft

Ubisoft's open-world pirate game Skull & Bones was originally announced back at E3 2017, and despite an original Q3/Q4 2018 release date, has been delayed twice to a non-specific date after March 2020.

Late last year, the game's creative director quietly left Ubisoft Singapore, and despite widely expecting to have a presence at this year's E3, Skull & Bones skipped it entirely.

Given that the early gameplay looked incredibly polished, it's easy to believe rumours that the delay is a result of the game being significantly overhauled, especially as Ubisoft has been rather vague about explaining exactly what the game has to offer.

While there's every possibility Skull & Bones could end up far larger in scope than we were expecting in a positive way, it's also much easier to believe Ubisoft is just going to inject it with excessive live service elements and all of the usual, generic Ubisoft flourishes (tailing missions, radar towers etc).
