4. Dragon Age 4: The Dread Wolf Rises

Unveiled during The Game Awards, Dragon Age's next instalment raised a woop and a holla, but according to inside sources, it's at least "three years away".

This pushes the release window into PS5/next generation launch window territory, as there's just no way the PS4 and Xbox One have nine year cycles when the scuttlebutt around future tech is starting to be detailed right now. Even if DA4 drops on current tech, it'll be a cross-generational release at the very least.

In terms of the game itself, The Dread Wolf Rises is the tagline, and possibly the game's real name. Fan theories abound as to exactly what or who this is referring to, but the narration in the trailer comes from Solas - an elven trickster from Dragon Age: Inquisition. His dialogue - "I suspect you have questions..." - references the close of the Inquisition's Trespasser DLC, and sans spoilers, points to Solas having a major role in Dread Wolf Rises.
