10 Upcoming Video Game Remakes That Could Be Better Than The Original
8. Persona 4 Revival
Back in June, publisher Atlus finally confirmed one of the gaming industry's worst-kept recent secrets, that a remake of 2008's Persona 4 was deep in development.
Persona 4 Revival is a remake very much in the vein of Persona 3 Reload - that is, intended to bring the RPG sequel's visuals and gameplay mechanics up to the standard of Persona 5.
While we're still waiting for a full blow-out on the particulars of this remake, Persona 3's remake makes it reasonable to assume it'll sand away many of the original's rougher edges while also introducing more story elements, social links, and character interactions.
And considering how widely maligned Persona 4's dull, overlong dungeons are, there will naturally be many hoping that Atlus decides to give them a streamlined overhaul, but we'll have to wait and see.
Given the immaculate results of Persona 3's remake, there's no reason to expect any different this time around.
