10 Upcoming Video Games In HUGE Trouble
1. AEW Fight Forever
On paper, AEW Fight Forever sounds like an absolute delight - All Elite Wrestling's first video game and one which styles itself on classic AKI wrestling games such as WCW/NWO Revenge and especially the beloved WWF No Mercy.
Given the rickety state of the WWE 2K games as of late - though WWE 2K22 was certainly a step in the right direction - it seems like the perfect time for AEW to come along and disrupt yet another facet of the wrestling world.
And yet, as tough as it is to admit, the gameplay we've seen so far doesn't make a hugely persuasive case that Fight Forever is going to deliver an experience that's both a satisfying throwback and a robust wrestling game in its own right.
Ultimately, it looks a bit too basic and straight-forward for its own good. The graphics and gameplay may have both taken the word "homage" a little too much to heart, because this seems downright sluggish and stodgy.
It's possible that a few too many budgetary corners have been cut, because it's difficult to believe that this will actually be all that fun to play.
