10 Upcoming Video Games That Are Already Doomed

The follow-up to 2017's hit survival game Ark: Survival Evolved was first announced at The Game Awards 2020, with a trailer revealing that it will star Vin Diesel and Moana's Auliʻi Cravalho.

Ark 2 was originally planned to release in 2023, though the fittingly monikered developer Studio Wildcard pushed it back to launch in early access by late 2024.

But Ark 2 missed this date without any word from the studio, and at present its release date on Steam is simply listed as "to be announced." 

The lack of clear communication has left the fanbase understandably frustrated, the Ark subreddit jam-packed with posts from fans speculating on whether Ark 2 is ever actually going to come out at all.

Given that we've gone the better part of five years without seeing or hearing anything substantial about the game, it's easy to believe that it's been quietly cancelled or, at the absolute best, will be half-heartedly sloughed out a few years from now, long after most Ark fans have stopped caring.
