If past occurrences are the best indicator of future occurrences, it'd honestly be a huge shock if Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 wasn't delayed.

The long awaited action-RPG sequel was formally unveiled in March 2019 for an intended release a year later, but five years on, we're still waiting for a concrete launch date.

The project has been subject to numerous delays, being pushed to late 2020, then 2021, 2022, late 2024, and most recently the first half of 2025.

It's no secret that development has been extremely bumpy, with original developer Hardsuit Labs being replaced by The Chinese Room (Still Wakes the Deep) in 2021, tossing out years of work in the process as the core game was fundamentally redesigned.

And given that we're less than four months away from 2025's first half being over and Bloodlines 2 still having no firm release date to speak of, it seems highly probable that it's going to miss once again and end up in the second half of the year at absolute earliest.

But the smart money is probably on a 2026 bow.
