10 Upcoming Video Games That Deserve Way More Hype

7. Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Poor Faith. Mirror's Edge Catalyst is due for release in a little over five months and already it feels like publicity for the sequel is being sidelined in favour of EA's other potential big-hitters i.e. Star Wars Battlefront. Of course you're going to get the hype train rolling for whichever game comes first on the release schedule, but it almost feels like EA have been pretty apathetic towards the game ever since it was officially announced at this year's E3 - treating it as more of a publicity stunt to prove that they actually do care about the fans than an actual product. Maybe I'm just a cynical bastard, but as anyone who played the original Mirror's Edge can surely tell you; Catalyst deserves much more hype than it's currently getting based purely on the quality of its predecessor. Despite how well-received it was, Mirror's Edge's review scores weren't backed-up by strong sales. It's never going to appeal to everyone, but EA definitely need to ramp up the publicity before the year's out. Released: February 23, 2016Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC
