10 Upcoming Video Games That Deserve Way More Hype
8. Destiny: The Taken King
Don't worry, it's not your fault if you're unable to comprehend why the die hard Destiny fans are offering up their limbs for The Taken King - Bungie's marketing department have been pretty terrible in conveying just what the hell makes it different to the two previous DLC 'expansions'. Think of The Taken King almost like a standalone game but with the Destiny name tacked on above it. Oblivion's The Shivering Isles is probably the closest you can get to the kind of scope Bungie are going for. Neither The Dark Below or The House Of Wolves - commendable as they were, for the amount of new content they offered - really changed up the base game that much beyond giving you new things to kill and new locations in which to do it. In contrast, The Taken King boasts a level cap increase, brand-spanking-new subclasses for the Warlock, Titan and Hunter and inordinate amounts of new gear for you to spend hours tracking down. If that all sounds a little daunting for you to catch up with, Bungie have even included a handy little item that'll instantly boost your character to the level needed to access all of the new stuff. Released: September 15, 2016Platform: PS4, Xbox One
