10 Upcoming Video Games That Deserve Way More Hype
5. Hitman
Square Enix have never been particularly great with hyping up the Hitman games; we all remember the monumental PR disaster that was Hitman: Blood Money's viral advert featuring latex-clad nuns. It doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon either, as the studio have utterly dumbfounded consumers by not being able to explain properly how you'll buy and play it. Is it episodic? Do we pay for each mission separately? Is development running concurrently with release? We're still largely in the dark about what the hell Square's plans are, but we shouldn't overlook what game it we're talking about here. The most recent footage to trickle out of PAX Prime should allay any concerns over the quality of the gameplay itself. Spoiler: it looks phenomenal. Don't let Square's inability to communicate business models well trouble you - this is Hitman by the books, and its never looked slicker. Released: December 8, 2015 (download only)Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC
