10 Upcoming Video Games That Will DEFINITELY Be Cross-Gen
3. Harry Potter RPG
We aren’t technically supposed to know about the game yet, but the cat’s officially out of bag so there’s no use pretending anymore.
Footage of the game leaked in late 2018, with rumours that it was being developed by Rocksteady quickly quashed. Allegedly, Avalanche (the studio behind Disney Infinity’s Toy Box) are the ones at the helm, but until we get any official word, no one can say for sure.
The game looked to be in decent shape when it leaked, but it may just have been some test footage, and so it's difficult to extrapolate too many conclusions. It could be just around the corner, or it could still be a few years away. Most likely though, since the leak was of a trailer itself, it’s in shape to be showcased and have a release date stamped on it.
This probably means it’ll drop with new consoles as a launch title, and with the Harry Potter brand it basically sells itself as long as it’s half decent. It may well be a system seller, boasting better graphics and faster frame rates, but will likely still come to current gen systems when it already has this big a baked in fan base.
