10 Upcoming Video Games To Look Out For In April 2017
1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
What is it: It's Mario Kart 8 with even more content. What's not to love about that?
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe supercharges the Wii U's best-selling title with a whole host of brand new content and improvements, presented in a 1080p, full sixty frames-per-second spitshine over the original's 720p native resolution.
First off is the biggest improvement - the all-new Battle Mode replaces the Wii U's rehashed race courses with brand new, Deluxe-exclusive battle maps that can be played across five new Battle modes.
Classic villains Dry Bones, Baby Bowser, and King Boo pad the roster count, while Splatoon's Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl crossover alongside new Splatoon-inspired vehicles.
If that wasn't enough, there's more under the hood than that. Stages are now littered with Double Item Boxes, loading the player with two successive items to throw around the map. For those who aren't gifted with the best kart-handling skills around, you can now brake during drifts in the blistering 200cc, or enable an automatic kart-guiding mode to make Rainbow Road a little less of a bumpy ride.
When's it coming out: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe drops on April 28th.
